ABOUT THE PROJECT
The ARRAYS project addresses Europe’s critical need for commercially available, high-performance radio frequency (RF) transmit/receive chain components essential for next-generation radar, electronic warfare, and communication systems, while strengthening technological sovereignty in advanced RF technologies.
ARRAYS (Advanced European RF Components for Wideband Array-Type Radar, Electronic Warfare and Communication Systems) focuses on eliminating supply chain gaps in the European market, enabling system houses to develop competitive, all-European solutions for modern and future battlefields.
Adopting a holistic approach, the project combines the design, advanced packaging, and availability of RF components tailored for wideband array-type systems. This supports the development of fully European array solutions, enhancing performance, resilience, and long-term availability while reducing reliance on non-European suppliers.
Launched in January 2026, the project brings together leading European organisations across research, component development, and system integration to deliver innovative, high-reliability RF building blocks for future defence and security systems.
